My name is Dee Sarah Fish. I am the creator of the webcomic, Finding Dee, and the graphic novel, the Wellkeeper. And this is the official SubStack and newsletter for my novel series, the Havenwolf Chronicles.
What is "The Havenwolf Chronicles"?
The Havenwolf Chronicles are the stories of a young, professional artist named Claire Gribbald who is trying to pick up the pieces of her life after a nasty break-up left her a bit more damaged than not.Â
It left her a werewolf, and now she’s trying to juggle her friends, work, and possibly even dating all while learning that being a werewolf is NOTHING like what she expected.
Join Claire as she discovers a world unlike anything she could have imagined. A world of mystery, terror, passion & family that threatens to devour her whole.
Book 1: Lycanthropy and the Single Girl
Lycanthropy and the Single Girl is Claire’s first adventure, as she navigates trying to live a normal life a year after her ex-boyfriend Liam attacked her in an angry rage, leaving her transformed into a werewolf.
Over that year, she has learned that the movies were wrong thanks to the help of her new best friend Mariska, a hundred-plus-year-old vampire. Now she must reconcile her new life with her old, make things right with her old friends and family and deal with the return of the werewolf who made her.
Book 2: Wolves of the Havenlands
It had been nearly 6 months since Claire Gribbald had walked away from her abusive ex-boyfriend, Liam Docherty, for good. Despite the chaos of her ever-turbulent life, she was making things work. She had her job, her little apartment, a cute bartender who was crushing on her, and close friends who knew her secret. They had been helping Claire figure out how to have as normal a life as possible for a young werewolf.
Things were finally starting to feel as close to normal as they had in a long time. Until she got the letter.
The hand-written letter, delicately inscribed on lavender-scented linen. It came from a world away and promised her the answers about what she was and what she needed to know to move forward.
It was a letter from Liam’s mother… and she was calling Claire home.
